A page has been added to our web site for tracking water quality in The Solent. It can be found via Links on the menu. Two external sites offer information Surfers Against Sewage and Southern Water.

Firework Night Party Saturday 9th November

We’re excited to bring back our Firework Night Party after a few years break! Join us for a night of fun, festivities, and a spectacular display over the water. We can’t wait to celebrate with you all – bring your friends and family for a night to remember! Please support us by making a donation

Here’s what’s planned:

  • Party Starts: 6.00pm
  • Jazz Band – ‘The Warsash Five’: 7.00-7.45pm
  • Fireworks Display: 8.00pm – Please note the bars will be closed during the show.
  • Jazz Band – ‘The Warsash Five’: From 8.30pm

Food:

  • Burger van on site
  • Chilli, curry, and nachos served at the club

Bars – open throughout the evening (except during the fireworks). :

  • The Upper Bar will be open to WSC Members Only on production of the Membership Card and/or wristband (issued on the night).
  • The Lower Bar will be open to the Public

Warsash Sailing Club is recruiting for 2 new members of staff, to join the small team of employees we currently have and help us continue the professional service we offer to our members and visitors at our amazing facilities. Facilities Management Lead

We are looking for someone to integrate into the life of the club and to take pride in maintaining its facilities to a high standard.

The Facilities Maintenance Lead is responsible for the maintenance, repair and advising on the safe operation of the club’s buildings, boat parks, slipways & jetties. This includes assisting with the preparation of facilities for Club sailing and social activities; co-ordinating the work of repair and maintenance contractors and undertaking repairs and improvements.

The role is full time (40 hours a week) with flexibility required and available by arrangement. Part time/job share may be considered. By arrangement the Maintenance Lead is to be available to work some weekends, particularly during the summer, with time off in lieu generally on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Assistant Administrator

We are seeking an organised and friendly Assistant Administrator to assist with member enquiries and support the day-to-day operations of our vibrant sailing club, working closely with dedicated volunteers. The following skills will be required: interpersonal and team working, IT and database management. The individual must be flexible in their approach. An interest in sailing would be an advantage. The position is part-time with hours to be negotiated in the region of 30 hours per week working Mon-Fri with up to 6 weekend days.
