Wifi Upgrade

The Club’s WiFi network has been fully upgraded. It brings a number of improvements for both staff and members, including:

• Stronger, more reliable connections throughout the clubhouse and bars.
• Faster speeds to support browsing, streaming and day-to-day use.
• Better coverage, ensuring a more consistent signal wherever you are in the building.

How to Connect

The way members access the WiFi has changed.

• When you’re at the Club, please select “Warsash Sailing Club” from the list of available wireless networks.
• You’ll then be directed to a simple sign-in page before gaining access.
• This helps us keep the network secure and ensures fair use across all members.

Staying Safe Online

We’ve implemented high-level security protocols across the new system. However, as with all public WiFi, we advise members to:

• Only browse safe and trusted websites.
• Avoid logging into online banking or handling sensitive information over the guest network.
• Use personal mobile data for activities that require higher security.

Ongoing Improvements

The system is brand new and there may be some teething issues over the coming weeks while we fine-tune performance. Please be patient as we monitor usage and make adjustments. If you experience any problems, do let us know so we can address them quickly.
