Firework Night Party – Saturday 8th November

We’re thrilled to welcome everyone back to our Free, Public Firework Night Party — a much-loved tradition at Warsash Sailing Club! Bring your friends, family, and neighbours for an evening of warm community spirit, seasonal fun and a spectacular firework display over the water! Whether you’re a long-time member or a first-time visitor, this event promises to be be a night to remember with something for everyone!

📅 Event Schedule – we’ve got a fantastic evening planned — here’s what’s happening:

  • 🕕 Party Begins: 6:00 PM
  • 🎭 Morris Dancers on the Garden Patio: 7:15 – 7:45 PM
  • 🎆 Fireworks Display: 8:00 PM
    Please note: All bars will be temporarily closed during the fireworks show.
  • 🍻 Bars Reopen & Festivities Continue: From 8:20 PM

🍽️ Food & Drink – Available from 6:00 PM in the Club Car Park:

  • Chicken Biryani
  • Beef Stew
  • Jacket Potatoes
  • Burger Van

🍻 Bar Access & Refreshments:

  • Lower Bar & Downstairs Lounge: Open to the public, offering a wide selection of drinks. Members: please show your membership card to receive members’ bar prices
  • Garden Bar: Also open to the public, serving beer, wine, and canned beverages in our outdoor space. Members: please show your membership card to receive members’ bar prices
  • Upper Bar (Members Only): Reserved for WSC members. Please show your membership card to receive a wristband for entry.
    Due to fire regulations, a total of 160 wristbands will be available on a first-come, first-served basis to members (including children) who present their membership cards.
    No card, no wristband and therefore no access upstairs.
    Once all wristbands have been issued, no further access will be permitted to the Upper Bar.

🚫 Safety Notice & Club Access

  • For everyone’s safety, no personal fireworks or sparklers are permitted on site. Please enjoy the display provided by our licensed professionals and help us keep the evening safe and enjoyable for all.
  • No car parking on site.
  • Shore House Jetty will be closed from Friday 7th November, 8:00 AM to Monday 10th November, 12:00 noon to allow preparations for the display.
  • There will be No Bonfire for Health & Safety reasons.
  • A one-way system will be in place throughout the Club:
    • Entry (upstairs): Via the Main Lobby staircase, where marshals will check membership cards and issue wristbands.
    • No access up or down the middle stairs in the River Room.
    • Exit (upstairs): Via the balcony fire exit outside.

Member Notes

  • Please show your membership card to receive your wristband.
    • Lost or misplaced cards? Contact the office for a replacement (£10 each).
    • Please allow one week for processing new cards.
